A successful small general aviation airport that has support from the surrounding community, adequate and well maintained facilities, and effective management.

The mission of the False River Regional Airport (HZR) is to continue its role as a leading general aviation airport in Louisiana, to attract more of the general aviation flying public, and to maximize its economic potential by making it a better place for the general aviation public to fly in to. The False River Regional Airport was selected as the Louisiana airport of the year in 1998 by the FAA.
